About Us
Who are we?
Originally a ‘Not-for-Profit’ organisation founded in 2004, Just for Smiles became a Public Service Foundation in October 2008. Our aim is to offer polyhandicapped people access to open-air activities in environments where they can experience new sensations.
+ infoOur Mandate
In Switzerland more than 120 Institutions – 40 in Swiss Romande – are home to people with severe physical handicaps. Just for smiles collaborates with these Institutions so that, through sporting activities, the children and youths can achieve a little more autonomy.
+ infoNumbers
During the Winter Season 2008-9, we provided almost 1,500 hours of Tandemskiing at Château-d’Oex and Villars. For the Summer Season 2009-10, Institutions requested some 5,000 hours for Joëlette-treks and sailing-trips.
