In order to allow people with restricted mobility to enjoy the delights of a walk in the  countryside, it is necessary to provide various sources such as professional training, specially-adapted equipment [Joëlettes] and suitable routes. These resources are expensive. One hour’s Joëlette-trekking costs CHF.45.-; a day’s trek costs CHF.225.-. A further CHF.8,500.- are needed to buy each new Joëlette that guarantees safety and comfort for the Foundation’s handicapped guests.
